Picture Perfect

Good Morning,

For the month of April the challenge could have gone any way depending on your interpretation and experience.

This was the challenge:

You didn't have to think too hard.  It was just to get you thinking outside your box.  The DT had a fair bit of discussion around the challenge and there were some very different takes on it.  This is where the interpretation comes in....Your past experience may have you wanting revenge or just celebrating being better than you were before.  But at the end of the day you are going to want to put your best foot forward.

This was my take on the challenge:

My beautiful now "16" year old daughter - as a mother I am always telling her that confidence is the sexiest attribute she can have, embrace it and always look good for yourself, not anyone else

For MAY........... we have slowed the pace a little and we have a sketch for you designed by our very own Sue Plumb.  Remember: it is all about your interpretation.

This month we have Cut to You on board as our sponsor.  Your can purchase ORIGINAL cut files to print on your own machine at home or you can order cuts.

As usual we have Scrap Accent on board as our International Sponsor.  Please remember that we can only continue to have prizes if we have sponsors.  And what keeps sponsors sponsoring?  That's right, sales and exposure.  So, please make sure you check out all our sponsors websites.

Remember to link up you can do it via the blog or share it to our Facebook Page or tag us on Instagram.

To Infinity and Beyond

Good Evening,
Happy Friday
I would like to show you a layout I created with some of the latest Scrap FX products that are “Out Of This World”
I have used the following products: Molecules Stencil, Chevron Background Stamp and the title “To Infinity and Beyond”

I know it all seems a bit “boyish” but I managed to make it all about the girls. It was a great 2012 when I got to take my children to Disneyland in California and it was even a bigger highlight when my youngest got to meet one of her Disney favourites “Buzz”. She even got to have a dance with him

Here is a close up of the title
And the Stencil…….can you see the Chevron Background as well?
For those of you who live in Australia the Woolworths Disney Word Tiles are a great addition to any of your Disney themed pages
If you have any questions about any of the projects I have created contact me or comment below
Once again i’m excited to see what YOU create with these products – don’t forget to share your layouts/projects on Scrap FX Creative Space on Facebook
Till next time……..Happy Scrapping

Love This Life, #ownyourowntalent + 42

Good Morning,

Belinda here again with a few more layouts for Scrap FX. For the first layout I have used the Love transparency with the Love this Life title.

Drum roll Please...........

The second layout I have created has a very masculine feels to it and I used the Chain and Clip, Gear Stamps, #achieve word set and the Metal and Stone Collage

I have used embossing powder on all of them to create the sleek grungy affect and I have cut up the Metal and Stone collage to spread the love around my layout

And just as as added bonus I was blessed to spend a weekend away recently with some of my fav scrappy peeps and I created this layout just simply using 1 product from our great range - the Lotus Flourish A and a great deal of stash busting once again
Combined with some patterned paper in the floral area it was super effective

If you have any questions about any of the projects I have created contact me or comment below. All products can be purchased from the Scrap FX Store

Once again i'm excited to see what YOU create with these products - don't forget to share your layouts/projects on Scrap FX Creative Space on Facebook

Till next time........Happy Scrapping

Mr, I am the Weirdo

In March we were asked to relive the 90's!
The challenge was to be a little nostalgic and we were challenged to be inspired by one of our Favourite 90's films.
This challenge wasn't about reliving old photos, nor about picking one of the films on the moodboard, rather it was about being inspired by the style of the era or the genre of the film and using it in a modern layout.

This was the challenge

And this was the layout I created

We ended up with 7 amazing layouts ranging from movies such as... Tank Girl, Mamma Mia, The Usual Suspects, The Silence of the Lambs, My Girl and First Wives Club.

For April it's all about how you interpret the challenge. It is just to get you thinking outside your box.  The DT had a fair bit of discussion around the challenge and there are some very different takes on it.  This is where the interpretation comes in....Your past experience may have you wanting revenge or just celebrating being better than you were before.  But at the end of the day you are going to want to put your best foot forward.

Get inspired today.....I can't wait to see what you all come up with. You can link your layouts via the Scrap the Girls Blog.

This months Sponsor is Charms Creations. Head over and check out what Charm has in store! Oh and follow her Facebook page so you get notification of her new releases.

Love

Good Morning Beautiful People…

On this fine Thursday I have a layout for you using 2 very different products that ScrapFX has to purchase
The project that I have created include the Wired Love and the Heart Explosion Stencil that can be purchased from the ScrapFX store.

It was so simple to use different coloured gel pens to colour the title, I’ve also done a bit of doodling, added a few brads and I used an older range of patterned paper and embellishments ( a bit of stash busting )
If you have any questions about any of the projects I have created contact me or comment below
I am excited to see what you create with these products
Till next time ……Happy Scrapping

Pretty Fierce

Back in February I was thankful to be asked to be part of the Scrap The Girls DT.

We had a moodboard colour challenge that was inspired by Constance Hall and her floral crowns and warrior Queen attitude.  If you don't know who she is, go and do a bit of googling or maybe try and get hold of one of her books.  She is raw, sometimes in your face yet relatable.  She has quite a following here in Australia and she is all about empowering women and supporting each other.  This was the moodboard…

We also had some especially designed acrylic and wood veneer supplied by one of the Sponsors Corbett Creations

This is what I created

We ended up with 16 very different, individual and amazing entries

For March it's a slightly different feel.........We want you to relive the 90's!  This months challenge is to be a little nostalgic and be inspired by one of your Favourite 90's films.  Create a layout inspired by it.  Now, this challenge isn't about reliving old photos (you can if you want), nor is it about picking one of the films on the moodboard (but you can if you want to) rather it is about being inspired by the style of the era or the genre of the film and using it in a modern layout.  When you link up your blog post (however you choose) you MUST share which movie inspired your layout to go in the running for a prize.

Here is the Challenge:

Get inspired today.....I can't wait to see what you all come up with. You can link your layouts via the Scrap The Girls Blog. Let's re-live the 90's together
