Fontana Di Trevi

Good Afternoon Peeps,

I have the pleasure in announcing that I have been selected to be one of the DT members at Archiscraps, this is very exciting and an interesting concept to be involved in.

Please head on over to the blog by clicking on the link above and help support us by following.

The first challenge that I had to create for February was to be inspired by the following image:

I totally took my inspiration from the mosaic effect and the fact that it is a fountain.

Here is the layout that I have created:

I travelled to Italy in 1998, the Trevi fountain is located in Rome
Here is a close up of the pictures - one of the Trevi fountain and another of me and my 2 friends Kirralea and Wendy making our wishes
My Journalling
My Fountain - decorated with crackle paint, ink and bling

Head on over to Archiscraps and have a go at the challenge

We are sponsored this month by   Mystical Scrapbooks

and the prize up for grabs is the following:

I would love to see all your support and most definitely your layouts
Don't forget to leave me some love so I know that you have taken the time to visit

Happy Scrapping

Texas Barbecued Meatballs

This would have to be one of the yummiest recipes eva.

One of my gorgeous friends made it for me a few years ago and I finally decided to make it myself.
It was an absolute hit with everyone and I have already been asked to make it again

Here is the recipe:-

1cp Uncooked Oats
1cp Crushed Saos
2 Eggs
1/2 Onion, chopped
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
2 tsp Chilli Powder

SAUCE
1 cp Tomato Sauce
1 cp Smoky BBQ Sauce
1 cp Brown Suger
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 cp Onion, chopped

Method

1. In a large bowl combine mince, evaporated milk, oats, saos, egg, onion, garlic powder, salt, pepper and chilli powder. Mix well.
2. Shape into meatballs of desired size and chill for about 30 min
3. Bake on a flat tray at 180c for 30 min. Place meatballs in a baking dish
4. In a bowl stir together ketchup, smoky BBQ sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder and onion. Pour over meatballs and bake for 40 min.
