Miss Moo

OK we are back at the cyber crop.....

This was the next page I completed, the challenge was by the talented Elise McKay...this is how it went down.....

Welcome to the girls room which I love 'cause I love to play with all things pretty and I have two gorgeous girls!
My challenge to you is a sort of a colour challenge........
Here is a gorgeous room which I want you to model your layout on using the colours and I want to see lots of flowers and lace and material.....just pile it all on!

And this is what I came up with - lots of fabric, flowers and a bit a bling thrown in

Now for the most awesome bit of the whole lot....

My homemade crochet CARNATION.

Leanne Jago, Tracey St Johnwood and Renee Iveson were all subjected to the granny side of me when we drove back from the Papercraft Convention in Brisbane. As Tracey put it " What would you have said if someone from the future came to you while you were in high school and said that when you were older you would be crocheting in the car driving back from a paper convention"..........bahaha ( such is life hey?)

So what are your thoughts? Do you like them? Or are they too much like Fairy Floss?

Do I Like What I See?

I recently participated in the Cyber Crop over at the Boxx. I managed to complete 8 layouts over the weekend - no studying was done at all that weekend.

This was the challenge set by Dannielle Quarmby

"Granny Flat" challenge

Time to get your nanna chic going on, ladies, with this granny flat challenge! Your layout must include my favourite vintage ingredients, namely:

1. Patterned paper background, I love that old wallpaper feel
2. Flowers (either embellishments or patterns)
3. A doily, paper or crochet is fine
4. Vintage sheet music or book paper

This was what I came up with

Notice the awesome Butterfly from Scrapmatts, coloured in with the Gel Pens that you can also get from Scrapmatts ( they are the best ever).

APOLOGIES for the title of my post.......

For our local group challenge Cathy set a challenge that well was a challenge........

Use 1 piece of cardstock, one piece of PP, you can add embellishments but not ones made of other PP or cardstock, Cut Square 1x 16.5cm, 1x 10cm, 1x 8cm and 4x 3.5cm and use colours to match fabric { Fluro Netting}

This is what I came up with:-

Now Leanne was a witness to my "OMG I hate squares" and "OMG fluro, why fluro, why are we being punished" { Hence the title of the post} in saying that I think I pulled through OK - he he
