10

Good Evening and a big Happy Tuesday to you all,
For my first layout I would like to share a layout of my daughter (and her birthday husband’s) 10th Birthday. What little girl doesn’t love a unicorn?
This layout is one that I have created using the following Scrap FX products: Create A Unicorn Stencil, Celebrate Word Set and the Girl Stuff Transparency

And here are some close ups:
For this layout I made my own flowers out of polymer clay, they are super fun, super colourful and nice and lightweight so they won’t weigh your page down
If you have any questions about any of the projects I create contact me or comment below
As always i’m excited to see what YOU create with these products – don’t forget to share your layouts/projects on Scrap FX Creative Space on Facebook
Till next time……Happy Scrapping

Perfect timing for a pic of my 43rd Birthday, we went to an 80’s concert (and it gave me an excuse to use more flouro paint)

And here are some close ups:

Good Vibes Only

Good Afternoon,

For the month of May we challenged you with a sketch designed by our very own Sue Plumb.

This was my take on the challenge - I flipped it sideways and used cut files from our sponsor for the month -  Cut to You
You can purchase ORIGINAL cut files to print on your own machine at home or you can order cuts - click on the link above and check it out................

For the month of June (thats it, get on board with this challenge now)..............
This challenge is all about Miss matched patterns and colours that somehow were a style.  If that makes sense?!  Here is the inspiration picture....

This months homegrown challenge Sponsor is one of our faithful favourites - D-lish Scraps.  Please take the time to peruse the shop and pick up a few gorgeous embellishments.  We also have our favourite International Store sponsoring our International winners - Accent Scrap.  Make sure you check out all the gorgeous flair.

Remember to link up you can do it via the blog or share it to our Facebook Page or tag us on Instagram.

52 Weeks of Gratitude - Week 7

52 WEEKS OF GRATITUDE

WEEK 7 - A FRIEND

2014 - With our teenage selves
I have been lucky enough to have had a friend since 1990 ( Yes, 26 years ), we have had good times, never any bad times, lost contact, found each other again and picked up like we only spoke to each other yesterday. She was my go - to, my fun bag, someone who was just as idiotic as ME. There was never any judgment between us and our friendship is just as good now as it was then.

1990
1991
1992 - At my 16th Birthday Party
1998 - At the Trevi fountain in Italy - love you too Wendy
1999 - Godmother to my first born Lachlan with my brothers and another great friend Susan
2001 - Man we had style
2004
2008
2011
2013 - At our 20yr School reunion with our equally just as gorgeous friend Kayleen who we
have know for nearly just as long

And lucky last - in 2015 I went to visit her after the birth of her 7th child little Leah Michelle

Love your guts Kirralea and I am a better person for knowing you

52 Weeks of Gratitude - Week 5

52 WEEKS OF GRATITUDE - WEEK 5

SOMETHING SOMEONE GAVE YOU

In February this year I had the pleasure of turning 40, for those of you who know me well you would know that it was really hard for me to accept this milestone. I had the grandest plans to have a Rocky Horror themed party with a photo booth and the best cake ever invented....BUT....when it came down to the crunch I couldn't bring myself to organise it, depressed and anxious were the feeling's it was bringing, the more I thought about celebrating ME the sicker I felt. To be honest I don't hold myself in very high regards and the reality of spending money on myself made me feel physically sick.
Just to keep everyone happy I ended up just having an "Open House"........

Everyone was invited just to pop in over the weekend, say HI and drink with me in my sorrows. The ones who love me made an effort and the ones who didn't....oh well you missed a good time ..... BUT anyway back on track, let's talk about the best gift ever......

I don't know whether my husband got the guilts for not being able to spend this birthday with me or what...i'm thinking more just because he's an amazing person and has absolutely no filter when it comes to money....yep and because i'm amazing and deserve it  - ha ha.

Drum Roll Please............

HE BOUGHT ME A PHONE BOX

You may think - why?? but you know what we all have our quirky little obsessions and thats what makes us all individuals.
I'd love to know what your little quirky obsession is - please leave me a comment
But for now........

I'm So Excited
Love you forever Adam Lowe XX
Hopefully being 40 stays this exciting

Graduation Ball 2012

Happy Wet and Miserable Saturday Peeps,

It's Murphy's Law that I finally get 4 days off and it's raining - what have you got planned for your weekend?

I'm just sharing a few layout I did with Basic Grey POTM - I absolutely loved this range and ended up getting this layout as well as the previous I shared out of the kit

I was invited to celebrate graduation with 2 lovely ladies I met at uni who I now call dear friends. They both did the accelerated program which meant that they finished their degrees in 2 years where as I took 4 years to complete mine. One of them now works in Brisbane and the other in Rockhampton so I don't see them as much anymore but we are all good listeners when debriefing and support  is required which is great because nursing can be really tough on you at times

Double Layout

Journalling

These strips came already made - I felt a bit disappointed when all I had to do was stick without making but I suppose if you were after something quick and easy then it's great

I would also like to show you a couple of my other favourite pics that didn't make the layout

Probably the greenest my front garden has ever looked - he he

Don't know why I like this pic of me but I just do

Miss Nita was gatecrashing the ceremony with me as well - partners in crime always

Miss Lenese

Miss Simone

Hopefully in this miserable weather I might get motivated this weekend to get a few done - fingers crossed.
Anyway stay safe and thanks for stopping by, don't forget to leave me some love so I know you have stopped by

Love and Hugs
