Our 10th Wedding Anniversary

Well I thought I would share a pic from our renewal of vows when we did it in Fiji in June.



I have been a little bit slack with pictures as such so i thought that I should share while I am transferring pictures from computer to computer.

We decided than 10 years of marriage these days is a fairly rare thing for people to achieve considering couples change their partners like their underwear.



We really wanted a casual beach renewal considering it was raining on our original wedding day. Fiji was the perfect place - the weather was perfect and it was an inexpensive trip to take the whole family on.

Special Bond

I created this layout for my featured DT member stint on The Boxx out of the Boxx of Scraps



Here is some of the details in the flowers - I used a hambly screen print and rub ons and some Prima Flowers

Still Proud Of Me.....

I was pretty stoked when I got asked to be Featured Member on The Boxx.
My picture was proudly displaying for 1 month on the website.
But only a retard like me would take a picture of my computer screen.....he he.



I got a Boxx of Scraps to play with and also got to pick some goodies to do a sketch challenge with
{Which by the way I am hoping you all have a go of}.

This layout was for a Build A Page on the Boxx - it actually finished a while ago but it has taken me this long to complete the last 2 steps......he he. It is the only photo taken of the girls and I when we were in Fiji

6 down......too many to go

Well I passed my subjects in semester 2.....yay me

However i was a bit disappointed with my marks.......2 credits and a pass.

Maybe I just have too much of a high expectation of myself - i dunno. Maybe if i was in a more ideal situation when it came to study I would do better - never said I was smart though - he he. Just means I have to be a bit more selfish next time { My good nature gets me nowhere}

I did this challenge for The Boxx fortnightly challenge set by Leanne Jago - use 2 photos, fabric/tulle, Paint and a Chippy and Challenge Heaven November word challenge which was to use the word "Remember" and the criteria was to distress.

Laughter is the best therapy

I don't know how true it is for all you other parents out there but for me it doesn't matter how loud it is children's laughter it will always lift your spirit.
That was my inspiration for this page.
One of the Scrap Apple challenges was to do a layout on what sort of therapy works the best for you....so for me it's obviously LAUGHTER

Murder?

The game of the 90's was How to Host a Murder.
I have decided to start scrapping some of my past considering that I am getting
old and my memory will soon fade away.

I did this Layout for our local scrap group - Toowoomba Scrap Apples.
The challenge was to create a layout using tissue or a napkin.
I think I got a wee bit carried away - i just couldn't stop sticking - it was like a compulsive obsessive disorder.
